Your generosity has provided resources that are already helping me create a more innovative, welcoming, and engaging learning environment for my students.\r\n\r\nThe Meta glasses have opened up exciting possibilities for how I teach math. I can now capture hands-free, first-person demonstrations, real-world math applications, classroom activities, and step-by-step problem-solving. This gives my students an additional way to experience and review difficult concepts. Students who are absent, need extra support, or simply need to see a process more than once can revisit these lessons at their own pace. The glasses also provide opportunities for students who speak different languages to communicate and collaborate more effectively with me and their classmates.\r\n\r\nThe thermal laminator and laminating pouches have allowed me to create durable, reusable learning materials that will benefit students for years to come. Instead of constantly replacing classroom resources, I can protect important materials and use them again and again, allowing more of my instructional resources to remain available to my students.\r\n\r\nThe string lights have made an especially noticeable difference in the atmosphere of our classroom. Combined with the floor lamps I recently received, they provide softer, more comfortable lighting while ensuring that the center of the classroom remains well lit. My goal is for students to walk into my classroom and immediately feel that it is a place where they belong, feel comfortable, and are ready to learn.\r\n\r\nMy students come from a community where resources are often limited, yet they arrive at school with tremendous potential, curiosity, and a desire to succeed. Your support sends them a powerful message: they are worth the investment of the adults around them. These resources show my students that their learning matters and that people beyond our classroom believe in their ability to accomplish great things.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping me create a classroom where technology, creativity, collaboration, and meaningful learning come together. Your generosity has made a bigger difference than you may realize.\r\n\r\nMy students come to school carrying many different challenges with them. As I shared in my original project, many of them live in circumstances where they are constantly thinking about basic needs and dealing with stress that no teenager should have to carry. Because of this, I work hard to make my classroom a place where students feel safe, comfortable, and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nThe floor lamps have helped transform the atmosphere of our classroom. Instead of relying solely on the bright, harsh overhead fluorescent lights, we are able to create a softer and more welcoming environment. The difference may seem small, but it has changed the overall feeling of the room. Our classroom feels less like a traditional school classroom and more like a comfortable space where students can settle in, focus, and be themselves.\r\n\r\nMy students have noticed the difference. They appreciate having a classroom that feels calm and inviting, and I have enjoyed watching them become comfortable in the space we have created together. The lamps have also allowed me to continue building an environment that supports students not only academically, but emotionally. When students feel comfortable in their surroundings, they are better able to concentrate, participate, ask questions, and take the risks that are necessary when learning math.\r\n\r\nYour donation did more than provide lighting. You helped me create a classroom where my students can walk through the door and experience a little more comfort and calm during their school day. In a world where many of my students face circumstances beyond their control, having a peaceful place to learn truly matters.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing that my students deserve a classroom that is welcoming, comfortable, and designed with their needs in mind. With your contribution, it has benefited students from Lumberton Senior High School, students from my classes, and other students who come into my classroom every morning.\r\nMy classroom faces the back entrance of the school, where students enter after getting off the school bus. Because of this location, students from my class and other classes stop by and use the supplies you donated. They have been using them to fix their hair or look at themselves before going to their classes.\r\nWhen I added more supplies to our classroom hair station, the students were excited and asked if they could use them. They were happy knowing there were more items to choose from, including different combs and brushes. They could also use men's and women's fragrances. During my class, I told my students how I obtained the supplies and explained how important it was to take care of them. Some students shared that it was really nice of you to donate to our hair station.\r\nYour donation has impacted not only my students but also other students I have met during their morning visits. Students who use the donated supplies every day have experienced a positive impact on their lives and school environment. They seem to care more about themselves, and during their morning visits, I can tell they feel comfortable and happy coming into my classroom.
