As we move ever faster into the 21st Century and strive to become better with 21st Century technology, some of the poorer school districts get left behind with the most basic needs. Please help us get a classroom printer so that my individual students can have printed copies of their work to share with home. (Many of them do not have computers or internet access at home so hard copies of their work benefits them as they share their work with supportive parents and guardians!) Working with technology is said to save paper. However I have students with learning disabilities that benefit from having a hard copy in hand. Technology itself can be a distraction to some easily distracted students. A printer will help these students to have their own copies of work. Printed work will also benefit group and individual projects - for students to be able to share their learning with others.
