I have received all of the items from my Donors Choose project, and they are absolutely amazing. I am already seeing how much of a difference they are making in my counseling office and, most importantly, for the students I work with.\r\n\r\nThis is my first year as an elementary school counselor, and having these resources has been such a wonderful addition to my office. The items are helping me create a welcoming, comfortable space where students can feel safe, calm, and supported. I am using them to help students practice self-regulation, manage big emotions, develop coping skills, and participate in small groups.\r\n\r\nElementary students experience so many different emotions throughout their day, and having the right tools gives me more ways to help them understand and manage those feelings. Whether I am working individually with a student who needs a moment to calm down or leading a small group focused on social-emotional learning, these resources are making my counseling sessions more engaging and meaningful.\r\n\r\nI am truly grateful that you chose to invest in my students and support me during my first year as an elementary school counselor.
