I also gave them to students won a competition in a review math game like Kahoot or Quizizz. In addition to rewarding my students, the food was given to students who came to my room and stated that they were hungry from either not eating breakfast or for not eating in the cafeteria during lunch.\r\n\r\nI wish you could have seen the joy and curiosity when my students saw those boxes! They were absolutely thrilled to discover what was inside, and most put in maximum effort or at least tried to earn a reward.\r\n\r\nMy next step is to write another project so that we will have items for second semester. These items will expire by the end of this semester.
