We used the wonderful donations from this project \"High Schoolers Deserve Fun Too\" to make creative timelines, collages, movie posters, dioramas, and mobiles for the play, The Crucible, by Arthur Miller. The kindness and generosity will last through many more projects like this week's upcoming concept art for the Edgar Allan Poe unit we are finishing up on Wednesday. The charity shown by my donors truly warmed my heart and got me to organize an official craft section of my classroom with an old book case. Photos are being uploaded today. Please make sure you go see those. My students did a wonderful, amazing, impressive job using the gifted materials. The students learned a great deal about simple circuits, color LEDs and Ohm's Law.\r\n\r\nThe TPU filament was extremely helpful last school year. The robotics students 3D printed wheel treads out of the TPU filament using the 3D printer. Also, the tool has been very helpful in sanding metal burrs and rough edges on both metal and wood.\r\n\r\nWe had a wonderful competition season this spring. We got a first place banner from our March/April competitions and went to the NorCal Invitational in May. In addition, students are wiring the robot, building the playing field and programming the robot.\r\n\r\nOur upcoming competition season is just under a month away!
