The new materials arrived just in time to create at least one more wonderful art project for each grade level before the school year ended. \r\n\r\nThe excitement in their faces extended to gorgeous finished artwork. The 5th graders used the metal, colorful sharpie sets, wire and beads to create fantastic Matisse' inspired art pieces. This was most definitely the hit of the year for them. The watercolor crayons and watercolor sets were used by the 4th, 3rd, 2nd and 1st grade. Creative colorful seahorses and jellyfish filled our hallways for the end of the year festivities. The 1st grades used the new marker sets to create the cutest and silly baby chicks! Kindergarten drew and painted awesome \"primary\" colored birds using their new watercolor sets. \r\n\r\nWhat an amazing end of the year we enjoyed thanks to the donations. My students are so very grateful and sweet.
