I see 1293 students over a ten school day rotation. Kindergarten through 5th grades come to me each day. Each time they come to me eager to learn about famous artists, relax, and create new art. This year has been especially tough. I will receive $300.00 in my art fund to spend on 1200 students. My students absolutely love art and the opportunity to use their imaginations. They come from high poverty situations. For most of them, this is the only chance they have to use art supplies and test their artistic abilities.
