As an educator, I want them to be able to read books that they find interesting, but I also want them to choose something at their level. The books you provided for my library offer both. \r\n\r\nIn my library I believe students should be able to pick from a variety of books. My first graders are just beginning to read independently. They want to be able to read graphic novels like the older kids, but often are overwhelmed by the amount of text and pictures on a page. These younger kid graphic novels allow them another option of reading and have simpler text and less pictures on each page. They are perfect for kids who are starting to read on their own.
