During work time, the children know exactly where to sit for shared learning experiences. There has been less confusion while transitioning from desk to the rug as everyone knows their spot. We have read stories and listened to stories while on the rug. We have worked on writing and spelling on the rug. We have engaged in purposeful play creating all sorts of structures while on the rug.
