Math is one of the most dreaded subjects in school. Parents and students alike fear it, and Common Core has only added one more layer of complexity to the equation. As their teacher, I want to make math accessible to my students by teaching them strategies that will make the subject more like a puzzle and less like an enigma. With your help, we can build confident and able mathematicians. During collaboration, students will learn the four Cs of 21st century learning skills: critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creating. Students will be held accountable for their own learning and present their solutions to the class, all with the support of their group members.
