From exciting twists to making crazy predictions, this book was exactly what we needed to stay engaged all unit long. Our narrative journals included descriptive language, figurative language, and dialogue. We also practiced with using synonyms for \"said\", so our writing will be more interesting. Our reading took us even further and we made Esperanza Rising dioramas that showcased the highlights of each chapter.
