As seniors, many of them are juggling heavy course loads, sports, and college decisions, and it can be difficult to keep motivation going during such a demanding year. After the students saw me struggle to get any curriculum or DIY lab material for the past year and a half, the new resources immediately made the classroom feel more equipped and supported, while taking a bit of the pressure off my shoulders.\r\n\r\nOne of the highlights has been preparing for the animal behavior investigation using the Carolina Scientific pill bug kits. From the beginning of the year, students had been asking whether we would get to do any animal studies lab (they love creatures they can take care of). Now that we have the proper materials, these resources continue to support meaningful learning both in and out of the classroom! Seeing them take ownership of a full lab from start to finish has been incredibly rewarding for all of us.\r\n\r\nThe additional classroom supplies have helped streamline daily instruction. Students used them to organize mindmaps to visually collaborate on review activities and created reference materials that made the dense content more manageable.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping provide the structure and tools needed to keep my students focused and invested through the end of the school year.","fullyFundedDate":1737572401726,"projectUrl":"project/unveiling-biology-hands-on-science-adve/8991225/","projectTitle":"Unveiling Biology: Hands-On Science Adventures","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Parra","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9538851"},{"teacherId":3715132,"projectId":8656064,"letterContent":"The iPad Pro has greatly helped how I create and deliver lessons, enhancing both my students' learning experience and my teaching efficiency. While I haven't had bandwidth to use the iPad as much as I would have liked this semester, in the spring I plan on using it to record more lesson videos. This will be especially helpful for the advanced topics we will be studying as well as using it to help students prepare for the AP exam. I've also successfully used it to help create answer keys for several assignments.\r\n\r\nOverall, the iPad Pro has become an indispensable tool in fostering a more interactive, accessible, and student-centered learning environment.
