My students will be able to create and see the molecules in 3-D rather than imagining and drawing in 2-D. Visualizing how a molecule looks in real life is difficult. Giving students authentic learning activities promotes engagement and allows students to visualize abstract concepts with concrete objects. These kits will allow students to learn how molecules take different shapes through inquiry and creation rather than through a video or textbook. I believe these kits will allow students to better engage with this concept, but also to teach each other while making mistakes and learning to grow!
