Students crowded around the boxes, guessing what each one contained, and their faces lit up when they discovered the new indoor and outdoor games. Many had never seen some of the items before—especially the pickleball sets—so the sense of curiosity and anticipation was huge.\r\n\r\nWe've already begun using these resources during recess and our PBIS \"Fun Friday\" time. One of my favorite moments happened last week during Fun Friday. A group of students who often struggle to work together decided to try one of the new board games. By the end of the game they were cheering each other on, talking through strategies, and even celebrating small successes together. Watching them build teamwork and resilience was truly rewarding and that is all thanks to you!\r\n\r\nOutside, students have been eager to learn the basics of pickleball. You should have seen them on the first day—some swinging wildly, some hitting the ball for the very first time, all of them laughing and determined to improve. They're already asking when they can play again, and they're beginning to develop the persistence that comes from trying and failing\r\n\r\nAs we move into our next PBIS unit, we plan to use these activities to reinforce positive behavior and give students purposeful choices during both indoor and outdoor play. \r\n\r\nYour contribution has given our students more than just games—you've helped create opportunities for collaboration, joy, and growth. Our lessons also focused on showers/baths and using deodorant.
