The main goal for these items were to utilize them to help work with areas and developing ideas on how to maneuver them into an object that would fit into a certain area that was provided during Math class. \r\nThe students utilized all of the provided items, which were in this case, shape magnets, Legos and Flowers and stem connectors. Their classwork was to work in pairs to think about how they could fill an area of 6 magnets long by 6 magnets \r\nwide, and had to be completed within 30 minutes. The pictures you see are students working and discussing the ideas as well as building the models for the area of 6 magnets long by 6 magnets wide.\r\nWe appreciated the donations that allowed us to utilize these in our classroom.
