The resources were put to use immediately and have been used weekly by the students that have joined our school's after school Chess Club. There are currently 12 students that attend, and they are eager to learn more and more about chess every week. \r\n\r\nThe Chess Club students look forward to meetings every week and come hungry to learn. Almost every student was a beginner and they have all improved tremendously since the first day. The Teacher boards have really helped the kids understand where they can and can't move, and most kids have moved on to the regular boards. The thing that I love the most is how much the students enjoy Chess Club. Other teachers have walked into the classroom during club and are amazed with how much fun the students seem to be havingI \r\n\r\nI have noticed a huge difference in these students, not only during club, but in their class performance as well. Old chalk boards and years of teaching no longer showed grey walls and chipped paint.
