Our school is a Title I and is located in a very poor and poverty area. The majority of our students live in one bedroom housing with more than four people. The living situation is so harsh for the majority of our students that we have breakfast in our classrooms, making sure all of our students eat breakfast daily. The whole economics status for the majority of our students is so heartbreaking, many of them only have one uniform for the whole week. Regardless of all of the above, my students are proud to be who they are and are always ready to learn. Our staff is always teaching our students that they can be whatever and whoever they want by setting goals for themselves. All of our staff is helping our students set realistic goals for themselves and making sure that they achieve them. We do this by setting high expectation for ALL and giving everyone equal opportunity for learning at all times.
