I now see how incredibly space efficient drying racks are and am so appreciative of this purchase.\r\n\r\nLastly, we have our new gel pads, larger ones, and a nice set of acrylic paints that has allowed us a greater range of art experiences. Students dug for sweet potatoes, harvested peas, tomatoes, garlic and basil, marveling and tasting the fruits of their labor with the tools you have provided. They expressed their creativity by designing succulent cuttings on pumpkins and pots using materials such as fine rocks and embellishments you've donated. Most importantly, you have given the valuable experience for the students to enjoy the natural world, spark their curiosity and learn about the world they live in, in the most simplistic, natural way, with their senses. \r\n\r\nYour support has helped bring our community together. This opened the doors to a whole new world of art possibilities.\r\n\r\nWe used the materials for an art lesson based on Matisse and his flowers with colorful backgrounds, using patterns and vivid colors. The outcomes were fabulous. Teachers saved these to give as a special gift to the students' mothers/grandmothers for Mother's Day.\r\n\r\nAgain, thank you for giving a gift that allowed creativity and opened up a world of art that these students usually do not get to experience in our school art classes.
