These Native American books will be used in my classroom to help my students research about the original residents of North America. They need these materials in order to look into their specific, individual tribe, as well as to learn about the region within the United States that the tribe inhabited. Students will be able to use these books to find out about the housing, food, technology, and culture of these ancient tribes. By having these materials available in my classroom, they will be able to continue practicing their research skills by book, as well as by computer. Once they have finished researching these tribes, they will write up their own essay, then work with their region groups to help put together a class book on all of these unique tribes.
