In small groups, they rotate through hands-on practice stations where they demonstrate how to perform CPR safely and effectively while also learning how to respond to an opioid emergency. One of our favorite moments so far was watching a group of students lead their first full training session for younger classmates—using the masks allowed them to confidently model correct technique while keeping the learning environment safe and professional.\r\n\r\nStudents' first reactions:\r\nWhen the materials arrived, the students were genuinely excited. Narcan boxes don't typically include CPR masks, so having CPR masks as part of the distribution gave students confidence that those who experience their training are more likely to implement the steps they learned to save a life.\r\n\r\nWhat's next:\r\nOur next step is to finalize the student-designed Narcan response lesson. Over the next few weeks, students will refine their training scripts, practice leading complete scenarios, and create take-home safety resources for families. The CPR masks will continue to be used as part of these sessions so students can demonstrate the full chain of response—recognizing an emergency, performing CPR, and administering Narcan when appropriate.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making it possible for our students to develop real-world lifesaving skills and share them with our school community. Having a vacuum available would make student clean-up more efficient, allowing students to take greater ownership of maintaining their space. After activities such as art projects, snack time, or hands-on learning, students could quickly and easily clean up crumbs, paper scraps, and other debris. This supports the development of responsibility, teamwork, and pride in their classroom environment.\r\n\r\nAdditionally, incorporating vacuuming into our clean-up routines would help keep the classroom cleaner and healthier overall, reducing dust and allergens while maintaining a welcoming, organized space. Your support is making a significant difference!\r\n\r\nOur students were thrilled and intrigued when we introduced the fidgets into our classroom. We've used them to enhance focus during our lessons on budgeting, saving, and understanding personal finance—complex topics that require deep concentration.\r\n\r\nA specific moment that stands out was during a project where students created their mock budgets.
