It has also been helpful during small-group instruction because students can take turns participating and learning from each other.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, my students were excited to see everything and immediately wanted to explore the new supplies. They were especially interested in the magnetic drawing board and were eager to take turns using it. Seeing their excitement and curiosity reminded me how meaningful it is to have new resources that make learning feel fun and exciting.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, we will continue using these materials during our small-group lessons, centers, and daily classroom activities. Our students will have opportunities to practice early academic skills, build confidence, and strengthen their ability to work together. It was definitely a case of \"out with the old corkboard and in with the new whiteboard!\" They were excited to have a space where they could actually interact with the materials instead of just looking at something posted on the wall.\r\n\r\nOur next step is to continue using the whiteboard throughout our math lessons as a place to practice new skills, show our thinking, and use visual supports.
