Because of you, my student students were able to get a class set of calculators. This was especially helpful because we were able to assess students on their ability to apply and understand concepts, rather than their calculation abilities. We loved being able to have them during our volume, Pythagorean theorem, equations with fractional coefficient, surface area, etc. units.\r\n\r\nThrough your donations, we were also able to get whiteboards for the classroom, graph paper, patty, paper, geometric shapes, and algebra tiles. It was especially nice to be able to get the geometric shapes, because the shapes made it very easy for students to visualize the surface area of a 3-D figure. It also allows students to easily differentiate between a prism and a pyramid. It was also nice to be able to show students a net for each of the shapes. \r\n\r\nBecause of your contribution, we got to reduce some barriers to entry for students and we appreciate your support of our mathematics class education.
