Students loved this lab. Students used the Cyanobacteria Beads you provided to see both photosynthesis and cellular respiration take place in the lab. They were able to see both light and dark reactions as they placed some cyanobacteria under a lamp and some in the dark. The bacteria that were under the light floated to the top. The bacteria in the dark sank to the bottom. \r\n\r\nThanks to you, the students gained greater insight to this important process. It created a curiosity and helped them identify how abiotic and biotic factors work together.
