The students are currently doing research on Biomes (Biology classes) and Alternative Energy Sources (Earth Science classes). Eventually they will be putting this information on to construction paper as a poster or make an informational book with drawings. Detail is one of the traits that my classes possess. Giving them the choice of paper (color) and how to decorate their poster (colored pencils or markers) will give them an opportunity to allow them to be creative with these projects. For example, the paper, colored pencils, and markers will be used by the students to construct a detailed/engaging project. These materials will be kept in the classroom to ensure that things do not go missing and are kept in good shape. I want to do so many activities with art and drawing, which is an interest for most of my students, I am just short on supplies.
