We've used it to create personalized iPad decals, colorful banners, and motivational posters that have boosted both engagement and classroom spirit. Students were amazed to watch their digital designs transform into real, tangible creations and immediately started brainstorming new ideas for future projects. The Cricut has encouraged teamwork, creativity, and pride among students. When my students first saw the new addition, their curiosity was immediately sparked—they were eager to learn what it was and how it would be used. This excitement quickly turned into engagement as they discovered how the booth could help them become more confident readers and capable writers.\r\n\r\nThe sound booth has become a powerful tool for literacy development. Students use it to record themselves reading their writing pieces aloud, then listen to their recordings to evaluate their fluency, pronunciation, and expression. This self-critiquing process encourages self awareness and helps them take ownership of their learning. Many of my students have expressed pride in hearing their progress over time, and the booth has created a safe, focused space where they can practice without distractions or pressure.\r\n\r\nYour support has made a meaningful impact on our classroom. The sound booth is more than just equipment—it's a path to growth, confidence, and academic success. As students are in full steam with the soundbooth, selected students will produce original lyrics and record them as part of a theme song for our school, with music as the central inspiration. This initiative will continue to build their vocabulary, writing, and reading skills in a fun and meaningful way, while also encouraging collaboration and self-expression. The booth provides the perfect environment for students to experiment with language, rhythm, and performance, helping them grow not only as readers and writers, but also as confident communicators.","fullyFundedDate":1752586492941,"projectUrl":"project/now-you-hear-me/9395636/","projectTitle":"Now You Hear Me","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Rambo's Sewing Class","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6516832_orig.jpg?crop=960,960,x179,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1561919280105","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6516832"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_40220","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":509,"numTeachers":30,"percentFrplEligible":62,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":39,"percentWhite":1,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":58,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"17.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":70.8,"schoolId":40220,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Lake Stevens Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Lake Stevens Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/florida/miami-dade-county-public-schools/lake-stevens-middle-school/40220"}
