With the addition of these excellent and engaging titles, our \"Book Nook\" has become a vibrant hub of exploration and imagination, where students are excited to dive into new worlds and embark on thrilling adventures.\r\n\r\nThe excitement and enthusiasm from my students have been palpable, as they eagerly browse through the new selections, their faces lighting up as they discover books that speak to their interests and imaginations. These new titles have not only expanded their literary horizons but also encouraged them to engage in discussions about characters, plots, and themes.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting aspects of these books is how they've enhanced our daily \"DEAR Time\" (Drop Everything And Read). During this cherished time, students eagerly settle into their reading spots, thrilled to immerse themselves in the new books they've been gifted. It's become a highlight of their day, as they lose themselves in the stories.\r\nBy giving my students access to a diverse range of books, we've created a space that fosters a lifelong love of reading. \r\n\r\nI am incredibly grateful for the support of this donation. It is through these books that we are building a future where reading becomes not just an academic skill, but a source of joy and inspiration for every student.","fullyFundedDate":1728312592106,"projectUrl":"project/ready-to-read-the-books-we-need/8473259/","projectTitle":"Ready To Read The Books We Need!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Ayers","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4161956_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1482185833548","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-ayers306"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_53077","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":441,"numTeachers":31,"percentFrplEligible":40,"percentAsian":4,"percentBlack":17,"percentWhite":27,"percentIndigenous":8,"percentLatinx":29,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"14.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":80.0,"schoolId":53077,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Kyrene De La Colina Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Kyrene De La Colina Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/arizona/kyrene-school-district/kyrene-de-la-colina-elementary-school/53077"}
