I am a 3-5 Language Arts teacher in Chicago. I am thankful to have wonderful 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students in my Language Arts classrooms. My students are kind, thoughtful, and resourceful. They work hard and are truly interested in learning. My students live in an urban neighborhood in Chicago. Their neighborhood and lives can often get crazy and hectic. They deal with the stresses of violence, gangs, and poverty. Many of my students are children of immigrants, or immigrants themselves. My 3-5 graders can have hectic and challenging lives. Throughout all of their responsibilities & challenges, my students stay positive, productive, and ready to learn!
