The BoomWhackers, rosin, steel pan drum, valve oil, and bows are an immense asset to the progress of our music education. In regard to the BoomWhackers, the students definitely now have more opportunities to perform melodic passages, and read notes off of both the treble and bass staffs. For students with disabilities the newly donated BoomWhackers provide various avenues of performance if a student cannot produce airflow into an instrument and/or have the ability to hold an instrument with two hands. The added donation of the steel pan drum created happiness and the excitement of a different instrument with a different timber provided numerous opportunities of joyful music.
