I have been using these to teach social-emotional skills, cooperative learning and critical thinking skills for the students at my school. I use the document camera to model how to play games and then set up stations for students to play. We have played during social-emotional lessons as well as during optional \"lunch bunch\" sessions for students, where they can elect to bring their lunch to the classroom and play games.\r\n\r\nStudents have learned to play a variety of games, which challenge them to think critically and help them with social-emotional skills by dealing with losing while playing.\r\nThe games we've played that support critical thinking, math and literacy skills are Sequence, Mancala, Mastermind, Pass the Pigs and Scrabble.
