These are checked out not only by students, but also by classroom teachers and our school counselor to supplement lessons on appropriate ways to handle emotions. And some, like the Lady Pancake & Sir French Toast books and 100 Mighty Dragons All Named Broccoli, are just plain fun, reinforcing children's love for reading and the time they spend reading recreationally.\r\n\r\nOne of my greatest joys as a teacher-librarian is being able to match books with readers and put high-quality literature in children's hands.
