One special project involved creating Hawaiian kapa art, where students designed unique patterns that represented important parts of their identities, families, interests, and cultural connections. They carefully selected symbols and designs that told their personal stories, making each piece meaningful and unique. The excitement was evident as students proudly shared the significance behind their artwork with classmates. In addition, our student paper passers were especially excited to use the new mailbox system to distribute homework, classroom announcements, and other important notices. The mailboxes have helped create a sense of responsibility and organization within our classroom community.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their faces lit up with curiosity and excitement. The mailboxes have provided a safe and organized place to store important student work, including special projects such as our Mother's Day clay art creations.
