We use multiple items from this project every single day in centers, small group, whole group, and intervention! My students have been so engaged and motivated to learn new math concepts and practice skills. They have especially excited about the jumbo ten frames and magnetic ten frames, which we use every week for our number of the week\r\n\r\nIn a classroom like mine, I have to have a wide variety of materials to meet the needs of all of my students, from students who are learning to count, all the way to students who are working on multiplication. Having a collection of materials that address many different skills and appeal to every student's learning style and sensory needs has been pivotal in helping me guide my students through our math curriculum in a challenging and supportive way. Thank you for believing that all children can learn, if they are provided the right tools!","fullyFundedDate":1764685155296,"projectUrl":"project/differentiated-math-for-inclusive-pre-ki/9730366/","projectTitle":"Differentiated Math for Inclusive Pre-Kindergarten","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Williams","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3469034_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1455425526709","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3469034"},{"teacherId":3469034,"projectId":9600358,"letterContent":"My students are so grateful for their new rug! When it arrived, they were so excited to bring it in to the classroom and open it. They gathered together to help roll up our old rug, then unrolled the new rug. When they saw the beautiful new rug, they couldn't contain their excitement! They started laughing and cheering, and laying down and rolling around on the new rug. They got to each pick a new spot to sit on, and loved to talk about what letter and picture they sit on!\r\n\r\n Our new rug has helped our students manage personal space while sitting on the carpet, and has given us new routines for whole group lessons that are clear and consistent. For morning meeting, literacy whole group, and story time, the kids know that they sit on their letters. Then, when it is time for math whole group they move to the blue edge of the carpet so that they can see what the teacher is doing in the middle of the carpet. We also use the routine of sitting on the blue edge any time we need to talk about something serious or when children are sharing thoughts and feelings with the whole class. This allows all of the children to see each other's faces, which builds community, connectedness, and belonging. When children feel like they belong, they are more likely to follow directions, take risks, ask and answer questions, and build confidence. A rug might seem like a simple piece of furniture, but it is a catalyst for growth in academics, social emotional skills, independence, motor skills, team work, and so much more!","fullyFundedDate":1756088962830,"projectUrl":"project/a-new-rug-for-pre-k/9600358/","projectTitle":"A New Rug for Pre-K","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Williams","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3469034_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1455425526709","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3469034"},{"teacherId":9252442,"projectId":9618715,"letterContent":"I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous support in providing decodable readers for my students. These books have made a remarkable difference in our classroom and have become an essential tool in helping my students build the foundational skills they need to become confident, capable readers.\r\n\r\nBefore receiving these resources, many of my students struggled to connect the sounds they were learning with the words they saw on the page. The decodable readers have changed that. Now, they can apply their phonics knowledge in meaningful ways, blending sounds, recognizing patterns, and reading with genuine pride and excitement. Each success—whether it's decoding a tricky word or finishing an entire book independently—builds their confidence and motivates them to keep growing.\r\n\r\nThe impact extends beyond reading time. I've seen improved focus, stronger participation, and a new sense of enthusiasm for learning. Students who once hesitated to read aloud are now volunteering to share their stories with classmates. The joy of reading is taking root, and it's all thanks to the structured, accessible, and engaging support these decodable texts provide.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has directly contributed to these transformations. You've helped create a classroom where every child feels that reading is something they can do—and something they want to do. Thank you for investing in their success and helping us lay the foundation for a lifetime of literacy.","fullyFundedDate":1755529245562,"projectUrl":"project/help-create-lifelong-readers/9618715/","projectTitle":"Help Create Lifelong Readers!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Strickland","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9252442"},{"teacherId":4227793,"projectId":9074707,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generosity, our new mobility learning stations have transformed our 2nd-grade classroom. Students are using the stationary bike while reading or practicing math facts on tablets, and the walking machine during guided lessons or audiobooks. These tools are helping students stay focused, engaged, and excited to learn while building healthy habits.\r\nThe reactions on the first day were unforgettable—eyes lit up, smiles spread across the room. Looking ahead, our next steps involve incorporating the mobility stations into a long-term reading project. Students will rotate through the stations while practicing fluency with partner reading and audiobook listening. We expect this to boost their comprehension and stamina while reinforcing the habit of combining movement with learning.\r\nLooking ahead, we will use the stations in an ongoing reading project where students rotate through while practicing fluency and comprehension.
