Even though we art teachers survive on cardboard scraps and old markers as long as we can, when kids have access to clean, new, exciting mediums, their artistic worlds open up. Because this year, we have plaster of Paris for Emily's swan sculptures, real acrylic paint for Gabriel's painting of Link, and brand-new motorized cutters for quick and painless sculpture-making. \r\n\r\nWe will never get over the generosity of strangers, especially in this day and age.
