The whiteboards are perfect for interactive lessons and small group activities, helping students actively engage with new concepts. Their engagement during phonics has increased with the provided lines on one side of the whiteboard. I also find that they are less distracted, and excited to do more work on their new whiteboards. \r\nThe journals have sparked creativity and provided a dedicated space for students to reflect and grow as writers. We implement writing into every subject area, so consistent practice is key to their writing development. They also have developed a sense of pride in the work they put into their journals. \r\nThe classroom clock set has also become an essential tool during math. They draw beginnings and endings of words and then they flip over a vowel and whoever can put the word together and say it correctly wins. They also love to play the game where they need to figure out which vowel team to use to make the word. \r\nThese learning games have truly helped solidify what the kiddos are learning in whole group.
