In an ESL program, students have to take the ELPA21 test for ESL and the state test. On the ELPA 21test, students are tested on speaking, listening, reading, and writing. On the state test many student receive a read aloud accommodation. \r\n\r\nOften ESL students are reluctant to speak out using the headphones helps them gain confidence. It also gives them practice on headphones for use during testing.\r\n\r\nMy students are excited to have headphones to use during class. With this project, I was able to give the other 4 ESL teachers 12 pairs of headphones.
