This will result in about 30 students who get to participate in playing the ukulele who otherwise would not have had the chance. Each 5th grade class spends about two weeks learning to play ukulele.\r\n\r\nThe students were very excited to see the new ukuleles and picks. I get to use them as incentives because everyone wants a chance to use the new materials.\r\n\r\nI am looking at purchasing new music stands next, because many of the music stands we currently have are many, many years old, and a lot of them do not function properly anymore. These music stands get used by multiple students every single day, so they are definitely an important resource for us to have.
