My students can now keep their school work & other belongings organized in the classroom with the use of this beautiful, wood mailbox/cubby. As you can see, I have labeled each slit with a student's name & I even had some extra slots for myself to store homework or other things. It also comes in handy like a shelf, so we can store things on top, especially the things I like to keep up high away from little hands. I hope it lasts for many years & can be used by many students in the future. As you can imagine, they are thrilled with anything new and when presented with these items, it was declared to be the \"best day ever\". \r\n\r\nFrom a teacher's standpoint, I appreciate the items from this project, both in terms of high interest, but also the learning opportunities afforded through the use of these items. The doll house is sturdy and the inclusion of furniture and doll figures makes this a highly desirable choice center. At this center, children pretend to be various family members, friends, and other inventive roles. It is enjoyed every day in our classroom as a permanent Choice center. In addition, the Lego STEM set has been utilized for guided learning opportunities on multiple occasions. The students were given an opportunity to explore and then were challenged to solve problems using the various materials. It is eye-opening to get inside the mind of a four and five year-old and hear how they solve problems.\r\n\r\nI am greatly appreciative as are my students.","fullyFundedDate":1758839055632,"projectUrl":"project/seize-the-play/9562999/","projectTitle":"Seize the Play!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Bova","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp1615877_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1448839738234","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrsbova"},{"teacherId":10008249,"projectId":9294125,"letterContent":"Thank you so very much for your generous donation to my classroom.
