Welcome to my speech room! If you look carefully at the picture of my classroom, you'll see I have a beach theme going. This is in honor of some of my former students who could not say the words "speech" or "Mrs. Newlee" but referred to both me and my classroom as "Beach". Ever since then it's been Speech in the Beach Room. I'd like to thank all of you who are reading this because just by doing that you are showing that you care about education and about helping children become all they can and reach their full potential. They say it takes a village to raise a child and I believe it takes a village to educate one as well. I hope you'll decide to pull up your beach chair and join me in my village-it's a beautiful place full of beautiful children who just need our support.
