I purchsed a lot of classroom incentives that were a big hit with my students. Lot's of figit and stress toys. I was also able to restock my desk wipies. Kids are not always clareful about where they put their hands and since we eat breakfast in the classroom their desk show that mess. From books to sheet covers, each one has been put to use or will be in the future. \r\n\r\nA lot of the things sent have and will be utilized for centers. As a first year teacher, I did not have the supply closet like my coworkers did, and I was struggling to keep up with all the To-Dos and To-Buys. This donation really helped tons! \r\n\r\nThe students immediately thought \"this is nice, we need to take care of these!\" I explained the purpose of the donation and why we received them. They were genuinely in awe of how nice the donors were. They loved to see the books, as their favorite time of day is our read aloud (second to lunch of course)! \r\n\r\nComing up, I plan to integrate the reading A lot of the donation items were for BOY, so I definitely have more solid plans for my kiddos next year to learn how to best take care of and treat supplies, get accommodated into the Kinder atmosphere, and begin hands on learning sooner. However, with these donations, my students this year are benefitting from the upgrade to my centers, as we delve into the harder aspects of Kinder. We use everything from the magnets, to the tape, and definitely broke into the supply of laminating sheets. \r\n\r\nOverall, we are thankful to the kind donors who have made my students' day a little more fun and easy.
