Many of our scholars have come into the new school year reading below grade level. But that doesn't stop them. With every story read aloud, my students become more excited about the ability to read independently. They, slowly, are developing a love of reading. Help me continue to encourage them to "level up" and choose books that will meet their individual needs and grow with them as them make gradual gains. There is nothing more gratifying than watching a child lose themselves in a good book.

About my class
