They were so excited to get our own classroom set. We have done one read aloud a day, and they have been so into all of it! The are learning to identify what the different emotions can look like within themselves and others. My students struggle with emotional regulation so doing activities like the Scribble Spots is a fun way for them to learn them.\r\nMajority of the students in my classroom also have Autism. Finding and having fun Social Emotional Learning activities is great for them! They are very hands on and engaging. We do our Social Emotional Learning activities towards the end of the day. This allows the students time to reflect on their school day before going home. They can think back about when they were happy, sad, mad, or upset during the day and what coping skills they used to help them in my classroom or in the general education setting.","fullyFundedDate":1746785307455,"projectUrl":"project/sel-for-all/9309307/","projectTitle":"SEL for All!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Jackson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8886006_orig.jpg?crop=1170,1170,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1670979858038","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/sabjackson"},{"teacherId":8886006,"projectId":9058392,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for all of the donations I have received. The donations helped our classroom library have a better look. The students are also able to find books that are interesting to them and at their level. Before, all of the books just sat on the shelves and it was not the most organized. Now, the books are grouped by theme - chapter books are separated from the others so it could be easier to find.\r\nWe have also used the bins for each student to have their own for their library books to remain more organized. It is easier for them to put their classroom library books in there, as well as their school library books in them. They are excited and use them and feel more responsible with their belongings. It has helped a ton in the classroom.
