My students finally arrived in the classroom after almost a full year of remote learning and I quickly noticed how fidgety they had become. I bought one balance ball chair for the most fidgety of all little bears and I've immediately noticed a huge improvement in his focus, attention, and grades. I'd love to provide alternative seating for all of my students so they can improve their on-task behavior, increase their core muscle strength and classroom participation while also decreasing their restlessness. Alternative seating has been proven to promote core strength, balance, coordination, and posture, which many children in my room would benefit from.
