When the students first saw the new cubbies, they were absolutely thrilled. Their faces lit up with joy, and there was a palpable sense of pride in having a beautiful, dedicated space for their belongings. It was a heartwarming moment that made them feel truly valued and supported in their educational journey.\r\n\r\nSince the installation, the students have been using their cubbies daily to organize and house their personal materials, notebooks, and creative projects. This system has provided much-needed structure to our physical space, reducing clutter and allowing the children to focus more effectively on their lessons. Having a \"home\" for their items has given them a sense of ownership and responsibility that was missing before.\r\n\r\nBeyond just storage, these cubbies are serving as a vital tool for growth. My students are building essential executive functioning skills, specifically in the area of organization, by managing their cubbies all year long. Learning how to maintain their personal space and keep track of their materials is a lesson that will benefit them far beyond this school year. Thank you for investing in their future and for making our classroom a more organized, happy place to learn.","fullyFundedDate":1757657577233,"projectUrl":"project/be-a-cubbie-buddy/9634102/","projectTitle":"Be a Cubbie Buddy!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Amy","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6741863_orig.jpg?crop=720,720,x0,y120&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1566445790463","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6741863"},{"teacherId":9553628,"projectId":9595788,"letterContent":"Our class is so very appreciative of your generous support of our classroom. Your donation to our Stock a Science Shelf campaign has impacted each student in my classroom for the better. \r\n\r\nThe students were so excited when they walked into the classroom and saw our new science shelf! They noticed right away as it is the first thing a person sees when they come into our classroom. It was just what we needed to make work about stars, the solar system, and our universe available for the children to explore. Currently, it houses work for the states of matter. This includes different musical instruments that the students explored and contributed each sound to a state of matter. They were so inspired, they started to write a musical, a parody of the Wizard of Oz they are calling The Wizard of Matter. This includes information from their own research and a sound effects department, all made available simply by having a place to put them! \r\n\r\nThe other materials donated have been well appreciated too!
