Playdough has been especially helpful for building fine motor skills while also supporting language development, as students practice forming letters, shapes, and simple words while using new vocabulary naturally during play.\r\n\r\nThe alphabet magnets have strengthened letter recognition and early literacy skills. Students are more engaged when they can physically touch and move letters, and this has helped them connect sounds to letters in a concrete way. For ESOL students, this visual and tactile support is essential. They are more confident participating in activities, even if they are still hesitant to speak, because the magnets allow them to show understanding without language being a barrier.\r\n\r\nThe blocks have also encouraged collaboration and social interaction among students. While building together, students practice problem-solving, sharing, and communication, often using new English words in an authentic context. These materials have created an inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring, experimenting, and learning together.
