Before this project, we had never used things like wireless microphones, green screens, or ring lights, but now we feel confident using them and understand how they work. Using the wireless microphones has taught us how to speak clearly, project our voices, and pay attention to how we sound, which has made us better communicators both on camera and in class. The green screen has shown us how to be creative in new ways, allowing us to film in front of it and then choose any background we want, which makes us think carefully about planning a scene and how it will look when edited. The ring lights taught us how important lighting is for a professional-looking video, and experimenting with brightness and placement has helped us pay attention to details. All of this technology has also strengthened our problem-solving skills because things often go wrong—like audio issues, shadows, or equipment problems—and we have to figure out solutions ourselves. On top of that, the project has improved our teamwork skills. We have to work together to set up equipment, plan scripts, and make sure everything looks and sounds good, because if one person doesn't do their part, the whole video can fall apart.
