This technology has changed the way my students think about design because they are able to take an idea that starts on a computer and turn it into a real product. Students are learning about graphic design, color choices, images, typography, sizing, and how to prepare a design for production. They are also learning that creating a successful product takes planning, patience, and problem-solving.\r\n\r\nWhat excites my students the most is seeing their own designs transferred onto actual tumblers and other products. There is something very motivating about holding something in your hands that you designed yourself. Students who may not always be excited about traditional assignments have become much more engaged when they are given the opportunity to create something that feels personal and professional. Some students have really taken ownership of the design process, experimenting with different ideas and helping classmates troubleshoot their projects.\r\n\r\nThe technology has allowed me to bring a real-world design experience into the classroom. My students are not simply learning how to operate a machine; they are learning how creativity, technology, and design can come together to create something meaningful. The students love it!\r\n\r\nI have over 200 students in this room weekly, and having a space for them to relax and spend time with one another makes a huge impact on the energy of our space. \r\n\r\nThe hand powered vacuum has given the students agency over keeping their communal space clean.
