The addition of snack foods allowed us to supplement our weekly grocery bags with a mix of fun and healthy options, items that students are genuinely excited to receive and families appreciate having on hand.\r\n\r\nBeyond supporting families at home, these snacks have made a real difference during the school day. When students are hungry, it's hard to focus, participate, and learn. Having accessible snacks means we can meet immediate needs, helping students stay energized, engaged, and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nThis project has also created powerful opportunities for student leadership. Seventeen students have taken an active role in running the food pantry, organizing donations, packing bags, and supporting distribution. Through this work, they've built responsibility, teamwork skills, and a strong sense of community care.\r\n\r\nIn our small community, this pantry has become a vital resource for over a dozen families. Your support has helped us not only provide food, but also dignity, connection, and consistency for the students and families we serve.\r\n\r\nThank you for making this impact possible.","fullyFundedDate":1763396902899,"projectUrl":"project/stocked-for-success-ensuring-no-student/9887495/","projectTitle":"Stocked for Success: Ensuring No Student Goes Hungry","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Hannah Reynolds","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2108401_orig.jpg?crop=367,367,x0,y92&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1762797456590","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2108401"},{"teacherId":8184924,"projectId":9893493,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your donation of Making Math Fun Again. It is amazing to see students so engaged when they are doing a fun activity in addition to doing math problems.\r\n\r\nSome of our favorite projects we have done so far are dominos two step equations, matching love donuts from solving two step inequalities, redesigning a bedroom that include scale factor and budgeting, smoothie project using percents and candy wrappers using a scale factor. One of the students' favorite activities is doing a Who Dun It activity to figure out who committed a crime by solving math problems.\r\n\r\nWithout having access to funds in a Teacher Pay Teacher account, there would be more of a pressure on me to make up the activities. I love being able to pull from TPT so that I can offer a fun activity for my students to keep practicing math. And do it with saving time and money. Thank you for giving me and my students this opportunity.","fullyFundedDate":1763578162128,"projectUrl":"project/lets-make-math-fun-again/9893493/","projectTitle":"Let's Make Math FUN Again","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Chelsey Miller","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8184924_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x0,y221&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1665664528779","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8184924"},{"teacherId":8184924,"projectId":9545315,"letterContent":"Thank you for your classroom donations. Students are using the colorful post it notes biweekly to make goals for the classroom and to keep track of missing work. They are using the colorful pens to do self grading on their work. It makes them feel happy to see not a dreaded red color on their papers. The students use the rulers for fun projects including a circular park project and house project. My Personal Finance class loves learning about the importance of budgets, career choices and pay scales, students loans, car loans and insurance.
