Students have many fees at the beginning of the year and they don't want to spend more money buying a calculator for math. These students need calculators to help gain confidence in math and to help with the basics. The calculators will be used for my Pre-Algebra class.These students are below grade level in math and being able to run a calculator efficiently is vital in their confidence and learning. Instead of always missing adding numbers with negatives, they learn how to plug this into their calculators instead and don't have to worry about making small mistakes. This makes students feel confident in math!
