So far, this has brought another way to use technology in our class by letting students print things from home that they never thought they could. We have tried other objects, but if it is too small, the scanner won't register what it's scanning. The students are really enjoying the upgrades so far. So much so, they want to make as many projects as they can. For instance, we are in our car project where one of the students' works made an old race car. Now that he has extra time, he wants to see if he can make an eighteen-wheeler! Already the vehicle looks great, and I know he can't wait to print it off. \r\n\r\nAnother student also loves the printers because he can trial and error his designs without taking up any build time from other students. Already, he is testing on workable doors and movable propellers on his amphibious car. \r\n\r\nAgain, I can't thank you enough for the donation as we soon wrap up our car project and move on to the boat project.
