I teach a variety of high school social studies in rural Maine, including AP US History, Civics, World Geography and Cultures, Women in History, History of Science and Technology, and Current World Issues. More than half of our district's student population qualify for free/reduced lunch, and while our community does what it can to support our school budget, we make do without a lot. I try to make my classroom a space that helps students connect with the history and experiences of people across time and geographic spaces. This classroom library will help me do that!

About my class
